Certified Fitness & Nutrition Coach with a passion for health and wholeness that has driven me throughout my life. I was very active as a kid and continue to stay active as adult to this day forward. I participated in a lot of sports as kid and in high school such as football and basketball. I even had the opportunity to compete in the NJCAA (JUCO) playing basketball at Montgomery College Germantown in Maryland. Even as very active youth fitness wasn't my only love, I first was enthusiastic about computers and technology. So for the about 11+ years I worked in corporate america as Internet Systems Engineer.
All while doing this I still had love for fitness, but dreaded the daily 9 to 5 and constant sitting for long hours. I would use my lunch break to go to the gym. In the gym on my lunch break with other coworkers is where I rediscovered my love for fitness and health. I didn't want to continue down this path. So I set out on a mission.
My mission is to honor GOD by empowering and educating the community with the necessary information, tools, and know-how to make health and exercise a staple in their lives. The growing rate of obesity and morbid obesity from children to adults within our society due to our eating habits, daily lifestyles, and overall brokeness, I feel its time for a change. I want to be a part of that change. I look to accomplish this by helping people exercise and make more healthy food choices, which lead to a healthy lifestyle where they are in control.
I believe true wellness can ONLY be achieved when our motivation shifts from the worldly desires to GOD's desire for us to become instruments of a special purpose, made holy, useful to the Master, and prepared to do any good work. (2 Timothy 2:20-21)
